* The current version of the book is 6th edition.
Lecture Notes
Students are required to take notes of is covered and what is not covered. In case extra materials are covered, it is the student responsibility to take notes of them.  Such extra notes will be included in the exam.
Power Point Presentations
The instructor will provide the power point presentations used in the class room.
Practice Questions
The instructor will post sample questions for practice for the exams on the course Website. There is no guarantee that any of these questions will be on the exam.

* No more than one student can participate in the project.
** Students must decide on the type of project and the specific topic by the third lecture. No Exceptions.
*** This project can be one of the following activities:
  • A Term Paper. Only one student can participate in a term paper. See paper requirements and suggested topics here.
  • A presentation. One student selects a topic which is to be approved by instructor. The student then collects material about the topic and prepare a 20-minutes power point presentation. The evaluation will be based on: (1) The appropriate coverage of the topic for the allocated time of the presentation; (2) The correctness of the materials; and (3) the correct answering of questions about the materials. 
  • An implementation of a Dynamic Website. In this type of projects, a student can develop a dynamic web site through either coding or using a tool such as osCommerce software. The main requirement of this project is to provide database connectivity. That is, the Website must accept data from the user and provide data dynamically.
